AMAG, Chico Ghost, Nagua ue, and Guajo are four pieces born from a single idea: groove — not just as rhythm, but as a felt sensation, something that moves beneath and within the music. Yet each piece follows its own path, shaping a distinct identity, its own hidden "pulso incognito".
AMAG unfolds within a steady rhythmic frame, where layers of sound slowly emerge and dissolve, creating a trance-like, multidimensional space.
Chico Ghost asks whether a groove can take on a life of its own — something fleeting, elusive, almost spectral — shifting form as it appears and disappears.
Nagua Ue draws from the spirit of Gnawa traditions of Morocco, reimagined through a contemporary lens — a journey where memory and modernity intertwine.
Guajo begins with a simple onomatopoeic impulse, then stretches and fractures it, amplifying its textures until it becomes something entirely new.
Each piece sets out in a different direction. Whether they ultimately arrive at separate destinations, or circle back to the same musical essence, remains an open question — one that unfolds in the listening.
